Ghanaian businessman and politician, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, has made a donation of $100,000 to the Ghana Armed Forces. The donation from the politician was received on behalf of the Armed Forces by Vice Admiral Seth Amoama, Chief of Defense Staff.
The Admiral heaped praises on the MP for being of assistance to the Armed Forces for some time now. “It has reinforced your determination to contribute to health care in general and Ghana’s socio-economic development,” he said in reference to Kennedy Agyapong.
Last year, Kennedy Agyapong commissioned the building of an 80-bed ultra-modern cardiothoracic center at the 37 military hospital. The project will also include a conference room when it is complete. There will also be a VVIP clinic which will have three operating theaters. There are several other modern features that will be included in the project by the time its complete.
