The leading Youth Sports development Agency in Ghana, Dreamland Sports plus has donated to the family of Late Saka Acquaye ahead of the former Deputy Director General’s final funeral rites.
Led by their Chief Executive Officer, Emmanuel Ola Williams, who has had fond memories and great working relationship with the Saka Acquaye, Dreamland Sports Plus donated Puma drinks and Awake purified drinking water to the Family on Tuesday, September 8, 2020.

In a brief interview, Ola Williams says, it was very appropriate that they support a fallen hero in Ghana Sports, recounting several show of appreciation to the Man also known as ‘Fishey’, when he was alive.
“I have worked with him for more than 20 years. From Boot to Boot, to Nunu Sports festival, tug of war, Road baton relay, ampe championship, Dansoman U-15 Marathon, Youth Olympic Games and all that, he has been there and been supporting me. He is one person that I don’t need to write a letter to him for any of my programs, either launching, during the program and the Closing.”
“We have already honored him during our Maiden Awards ceremony (Those promoting Grassroot Sports). We honored him again during the road baton relay at the Stadium. So, it was just necessary we do this. Ghana has really lost a great person and before we can get such a person, it will be a long time.” The GOC Youth Coordinator added
The sudden death of Mr Saka Acquaye occurred at the 37 Military Hospital on Wednesday, June 24 after a short illness.
His burial service comes off on Saturday, September 12, at the Mantse Ankrah Palace near Kaneshie Sports Complex together with selected sporting activities to pay him last respect. He will then be moved to the Sempe Mamponse Cemetery for final burial.
